Services

Everything from the first landing page to the platform that runs the business.

We're a small studio, so we do a few things properly rather than everything adequately. Here's what we're good at.

01

Web applications

We build web apps with Next.js, React and TypeScript on top of a PostgreSQL database — fast to load, simple to operate, and designed so the people running the business can manage it without us.

Includes

  • Customer and staff portals
  • Booking and reservation systems
  • Admin dashboards & reporting
  • Authentication, roles and audit logs

02

Mobile apps

Where a web app isn't enough — push notifications, camera, offline use — we ship native-feeling apps for both platforms from a single codebase, and take them through App Store and Google Play review.

Includes

  • iOS & Android from one codebase
  • Push notifications & deep links
  • Camera, documents and uploads
  • App Store / Play Store submission

03

Marketplaces & platforms

Building URent taught us what a marketplace needs under the surface: identity verification, wallets and payouts, dispute handling, fraud controls and an admin console that scales past one person. We bring that straight to client platforms.

Includes

  • Card payments via BML Connect
  • ID verification & KYC flows
  • Wallets, ledgers and payouts
  • Moderation & admin tooling

04

Websites & landing pages

A good website for a Maldivian business loads in under two seconds on mobile data, explains what you do in one scroll, and makes it one tap to reach you on WhatsApp. We design and build exactly that, with SEO handled from day one.

Includes

  • Design & copy structure
  • SEO, analytics and Open Graph
  • WhatsApp & direct-booking flows
  • Domain, hosting and email setup

05

Hosting, IT & security

Before NZVN was a studio, its founder ran IT and security for teams. We set up and maintain the unglamorous parts — DNS, email deliverability, backups, monitoring — and review existing systems for security problems before someone else finds them.

Includes

  • Domains, DNS and business email
  • Cloud hosting & deployment pipelines
  • Backups, monitoring and uptime
  • Security reviews & hardening

06

Maintenance & support

Software is never finished. A retainer covers updates, dependency and security patches, small improvements and a direct line when something breaks — with a response time you can plan around.

Includes

  • Monthly updates & patches
  • Small feature changes
  • Priority response window
  • Quarterly review

How a project runs

Four steps, and you see working software from week one.

  1. 01

    Discovery

A 30-minute call to understand the business, the users and what 'done' looks like. Free, no slides.

  2. 02

    Scope & quote

A written scope with a fixed price or a day rate, milestones and what's out of scope. You know the number before we start.

  3. 03

    Design & build

Weekly check-ins with a working preview link from the first week. You see progress, not status reports.

  4. 04

    Launch & run

We deploy, hand over the keys and documentation, and stay on as support if you want us to.

Questions

Before you ask.

Ask something else
How do you price work?
Fixed price for a defined scope, or a day rate for open-ended work. Either way you get a written number before anything starts, and changes are agreed in writing before they're billed.
Who owns the code?
You do. On final payment you receive the repository, the deployment and the accounts — nothing is locked to us.
Do you work with businesses outside the Maldives?
Yes. Most of our clients are Maldivian, but we've delivered for clients abroad and work comfortably across time zones.
What happens after launch?
We hand over documentation and offer a monthly retainer for updates, patches and support. You can also take it in-house or to another developer — the code is standard and documented.
Can you take over an existing project?
Usually. We start with a short paid audit so you know what state it's in and what it will take, then decide together whether to continue.
