A studio with a name that sounds like its founder.

NZVN is the registered studio of Mohamed Nazween, a web and app developer based in Malé with roots on AA. Ukulhas. The name is Nazween with the vowels taken out — because the studio is, honestly, one person and the work they put their name to.

Before the studio, that meant IT systems administration and security research for teams. Now it means designing, building and operating software: two products of our own, and a handful of client projects at a time.

Ship, then operate

We don't just hand over a build. Two of the products we built are businesses we run every day, and that changes how we build for everyone else.

One person, fully accountable

You talk to the developer, not an account manager. Decisions are fast and nothing gets lost between layers.

A business, not a side gig

NZVN is registered, invoices properly and signs contracts. Your project lives inside a company with a long-term address.

Boring technology where it counts

Proven tools — Next.js, PostgreSQL, standard hosting — so what we build can be maintained by anyone, not just us.

Timeline

Short so far. Deliberately.

  1. 2025

    Client websites and tools shipped under the Nazween name; Naseema Hiya and the Blue Star Launch invoice maker go live.

  2. April 2026

    NZVN registered as a sole proprietorship (SP09342026). Flix Maldives registered as a business name.

  3. October 2026

    URent registered as a business name; registration opens for renters, owners and rental businesses.

  4. Now

    nzvn.org launches as the studio's home. Taking on a small number of client projects alongside the products.
